This bed is designed and built for Virtual Sun of America and features 30 lamps in the popular Sunny VL frame, similar to the Power 36. Almost a full FOOT longer than the regular Sunny, it is perfect for extra tall tanners who demand total coverage. Like the regular Alpha Sun beds, it uses European electronics and bronzing lamps (230VAC @ 20A) but opts for the most expensive Sol Pro technology for an intense tan.

It shares the same basic frame as the Power 36, as well as the lamps, electronics and overall design without a few extra features and a few less lamps. You can expect the same famous Alpha Sun tan, same warranty, same length of service and same durability.

The VS30 makes an exceptional tanning system for the salon or home because it uses the same electronics and frame as the larger Sunny beds, without the service wagon and remote capabilities. All electronics are housed inside the tanning bed, but are still accessible. This system provides a large step up in performance and reliability from 24 lamp systems, for only a few hundred dollars more. If you already own a 24 lamp tanning bed but demand more, this is your best choice.

What IS RUVA Technology?

RUVA stands for "Reflector Ultra Violet A" and it is a very different type of lamp than traditional tanning beds use.  Rather than soley rely on the aluminum reflectors in side the tanning bed, RUVA lamps EACH have their own built in reflector.  This means the UVA that would normally exit the back side of the lamp (and away from you) is reflected BACK toward the front, before it has a chance to leave the lamp.  This is the most significant technology for intense tans, and is found on virtually every tanning bed over $10,000.  The difference is, you can own the same technology for much less when you purchase this model.  The diagram below shows you how it works, by forcing virtually all the light toward the tanner.  This is how the Virtual Sun model guarantees the most "sun like" you have ever experienced in a tanning system.  Don't just compare this to other beds in its price range, compare it anything on the market, and see which is the best value. The Virtual Sun model isn't "as good as" most salon beds, it will flatly out perform the majority of equipment costing 2 to 3 times more.

Is the Virtual Sun model really that much better than a regular system?

Yes!  As you can see from the image below, the lamps are MUCH closer together, and the full tunnel design will ensure that every square inch of you is bathed in UV.  While number of lamps alone can't determine the power of the system, the total combination of using RUVA lamps, tight lamp spacing, and pure Alpha Sun electronics guarantee you will get more tan from this model than anything in its price range.

Who would buy this special Virtual Sun Model?
